Many kids were not able to visit relatives and had to stay through the summer. But they had a blast participating in summer activities. One such program was attending a VBS at a local church for a week. Here is a pic of them displaying (proudly) their certificate of participation. They left everyday at 9am (by our van) and returned by 4pm. They had to pack their lunch and take it with them. The Church provided snacks and juice/drinks.
