MG Boy Anis Returns to Miracle Garden as the Watchman

Anis (at MG from 2005-2008), now a young man at age 20, came back to visit Miracle Garden in early February. Here is his story about the last two years. After he became a Christian at MG, he shared the love of Christ with his mother, who was a tsunami survivor. She also accepted the hope of Christ and became a convert. Because of this he and his mom were kicked out of their village. The people of the village refused to give them a new government Tsunami home that was due them, as his father had died in the Tsunami. His mom is older and cannot work. Because of the education he received at Miracle Garden, Anis  got a job working at a pharmaceutical factory in Pondicherry. After learning about the opening we had for a Watchman (keeping an eye on the now always-open front gate, where construction workers and many others come in and out), he jumped at the chance to be back at Miracle Garden. He was happy to see some of his old friends and has proven to be a responsible young man. We don't always get a chance to know how students who have graduated and left Miracle Garden are doing, so this is a blessing to us. Pray that God will open doors for many other graduates to return and share their stories with us.
