Here is our bore well motor that was graciously provided by donors more than 3 years ago. It has been operating 365 days per year for more than 5 hours each day. This motor brings water up from 500 feet underground and pumps it into 5 or 6 tanks daily for washing, cooking, and bathing. The motor has been fixed often, but still was on its last legs. Today it finally gave out.The staff are now carrying water in buckets to provide the needs of the kitchen and residential buildings (not the boys' & girls' dorms - they have reserve tanks with their own small pumps). A staff member is out buying parts to try and fix it, however, we will need to purchase a new bore well motor in the very near future. If God lays it on your heart to help with this project, please send us an email at jmpandian@yahoo.com.
