This Sangeetha has been with us for 6 months nw. She and her sister lost their parents in a fire at the Tsunami shelters. Their family lost everything in the Tsunami and they had been living at the shelters for the past 2 years. The shelters were propped up on lands belonging to rich landlords who saw their lands being permanently occupied by the victims of the Tsunami. So they have been involved in accidents that have burnt down many shelters leaving thousands homeless. In one such accident Sangeetha and Soundarya lost their parents. When their relatives brought them here they showed me pictures of the charred bodies of the parents and I still cannot forget it everytime I see these two kids.
