Girls Tamil Selvi (age 7), Swathi (3), and Little Sangeetha (in back, age 4) dressed in clothing from the US. Thank you to everyone who sent nice things to the children! Donations of nice used clothes are always welcome. Please send only children's sizes 6 through 14, as most of our kids are small for their age. Girls here also wear bigger sizes than their counterparts in the US, as cultural values demand longer hemlines and sleeves (sleeveless tops and girl's bathing suits/shorts are not useful here). So even Swathi wears a size 5 or 6 (in used clothes - already shrunk; new clothes size 4). And jeans are the rage for both boys and girls. If your Spring cleaning includes going through your children's closets, please consider sending a small box of items this Spring for the orphans. :-) PS - Thank you to the Bunce family for the lollipops!
