Orphan Guyathri makes "muruku," an Indian snack made from dhal and fried. The girls make their own snacks from ingredients they purchase themselves. They are given a budget and an account book in which to write their bookkeeping figures. They are learning accounting and budgeting, as well as having fun and enjoying homemade snacks. Only the girls eat what the girls make. The boys are on their own! You go girl! Posted by Picasa
