Children's Day - November 14th, Nehru's birthday.

Teachers introduce Children's Day, a celebration of children set up in honor of Jawaharlal Nehru, who loved children. Jawaharlal Nehru was an Indian statesman who was the first (and to date the longest-serving) prime minister of India, from 1947 until 1964.

Kids' field trip to Agra??

Actually the kids did not go to Agra, but a traveling exhibit brought an almost life-size replica of the Taj Mahal to Coimbatore. Our school kids went to see it and had a great time!
