The 2004 Tsunami created a crisis in every land it came ashore. Children became the worst hit victims of this horrific disaster.
We wanted to do our part to help the smallest and most vulnerable victims of the Asian Tsunami here in India.
We went and saw the devastation, we heard the stories and we reached out our hands to hold those that lost every thing.
At our Miracle Garden Tsunami Childrens Home, kids enjoy a new life. Share in our passion to help these little ones build a new future.

Boys kill 7' long Poisonous Snake!

The snake was cornered by 3 Miracle Garden Cats yesterday evening near the kitchen. When some of the boys went to see what the cats were so exited about, they saw a fearsome sight. They ran to the front and got me. By that time the cats had chased the snake up the mango tree. We cornered it and 5 big boys and myself were ready with sticks. I did not want to get it down of the tree forcefully, not knowing what kind it was. If it happened to be a cobra, I feared a counter response from the snake. The nearest hospital with snake venom is 45 minutes away and that would be a fatal distance for a cobra bite. So I called my local chicken supplier and requested him to bring a local man familiar with snakes. The guy responded within ten minutes, until then we kept vigil around the tree. Once the man got there (He was drunk) he went about swinging at the tree and the snake moved down the tree and our boys got in a few hits. It climbed back up and then decided to make a run for it. The boys got it cornered and killed it(inspite of the antics of the drunk snake man). We always pray for safety. Till this day, all scorpions and snakes have been seen by us or the dogs or the cats, before they can harm anyone. God is with us!
