Orphan Little Sangeetha (age 3 & 1/2) developed an abcess on her arm, which became deeply infected. The abcess would not respond to treatment, and so Sangeetha was admitted to the hospital for 10 days. She was taken to a private hospital (G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hosiptal) in Coimbatore. THey did surgery and removed the abcess, then gave her strong antibiotics via IV. The doctor says she cancome home tomorrow. They are not sure what caused the abcess or infection.Pastor John Chelamuthu and his wife have stayed with Sangeetha the whole time. Please pray for this dear child and her speedy recovery.  Posted by Picasa

Little Sangeetha during our visit in July. She is 30 lbs of personality and energy! Hard for her to stay calm in bed in the hospital. Poor kid threw tantrums as doctors and nurses had to change the site of her IV several times.  Posted by Picasa

John choosing material for the orphans' school uniforms. Three sets of new uniforms had to be tailored for each of the 64 children at MG. Very expensive! Thank you to several partners who continue to contribute to the uniform and school supply fund. Consider having your church, sunday school, or small group raise funds for school supplies for the orphans. Posted by Picasa
